For organizers

Listing guidelines

What we list, what we don't, and how every listing is checked.

Kinder Path helps people who find the first step hard join real, local, welcoming things. Listing is free, and a person checks every listing.

What we accept

  • Free or low-cost activities anyone can join on their own: book groups, walking groups, craft and hobby meet-ups, classes, nature walks, library programs, community-center drop-ins and volunteer roles
  • Public places with opening hours: libraries, parks, nature centers, community and senior centers, museums and galleries
  • A clear date and time (or "ongoing" with opening hours), a real street address, and an official web page we can check
  • Welcoming to newcomers and people arriving alone. Adults welcome; all-ages is fine.

What we don't list

  • Sales pitches, paid advertising, sponsored posts, multi-level marketing or "business opportunities"
  • Political campaigning, canvassing, or fundraising for candidates and ballot measures
  • Dating, singles or hook-up events
  • Adults-only nightlife: events centered on bars, 21+ nights, happy hours, pub crawls or cannabis
  • Anything unsafe or hateful, or that asks people for money, deposits, gift cards or personal details up front
  • Ticketing-site or social-media links as the only source. We need the organizer's own page.

How it works

  1. Submit the form and confirm your email address with the link we send you.
  2. We check it. Our reviewer compares your listing with your page: title, date and time, place, cost and distance. Anything unclear goes to a person.
  3. A person decides. We approve or decline it, and you get a plain email either way.
  4. It goes live for people nearby. Past events are removed automatically.
